IDC Research’s newest Edge View 2022 survey, technology analysts reported there will be a continued increase in investment for edge solutions over the next two years. According to the survey, three-quarters of enterprises plan to increase their edge investments with an average increase of 37% to bring innovation and operational efficiency to operations.
Several factors are contributing to the strong investment in edge solutions, including the need to improve production capabilities and adopt new digital technologies that integrate edge applications, according to IDC.
